The results
The TREK UCI Gravel World Series
The concept of the new Gravel race series is that riders can earn a spot for the annual TREK UCI Gravel World Championships(more info here). At each round of the new TREK UCI Gravel World Series, the fastest 25% of men and women in each age group (even without a specific license) qualify. At the World Championships - September 30 to October 1, 2023 - the UCI World Champions will be crowned in each age group.
Professional riders can also participate in the events of the series. Any type of bike is allowed, i.e. road bike, cyclocross bike, gravel bike and mountain bike - but no e-bikes. Important: Prerequisite is a race license or a signed and stamped sports medical examination(download here).

The 2022 Gravel World Cup was won by Pauline Ferrand Prevot of France in the women's category and Gianni Vermeersch of Belgium in the men's category. German Henning Bommel secured the title in the M35-39 age group.
